Lynn’s Traditions cakes are a unique collaboration between the customer and the designer. This starts with a Consultation. Consultations are normally reserved for designed wedding cakes serving 100 or more guests. Normal times available are Mondays, Tuesdays & Sundays 3PM - 7PM. Due to time constraints, it's recommended you contact me in advance to determine if a consultation is needed for your special designed cake. Typically, the initial consultation in Raleigh, NC will include a tasting.

For most wedding couples and others planning their special day, the average consultation lasts 45 minutes or longer. This is a relaxed time where you may review my portfolio and share any ideas, art designs, color swatches and pictures of the style and look you have found appealing to you. Though I have many existing designs to choose from, my specialty is creating customized cakes that are specific to your needs.

The consultation is a time for me to work with you to incorporate some of the following topics: {Atmosphere, Cake Flavors and Fillings, Colors, Delivery, Servings, Flowers, Health Issues, Dietary Needs, Locations, Presentation of Cake, Shapes, Style, Designs, and Themes} In addition to wedding cakes, I am also happy to create cakes for birthdays, bridal showers, anniversaries, baby showers, religious events, graduations, and many more celebrations that call for a customized confection.
